Vegetarian Burger

Burger is an all time kids favourite meal.When the kids are bored of the regular rotis and subzis, I make these Vegetable Burgers. Sometimes, I even used to make it as an after school snack with the mini-buns. As it is an exciting option, there were no fusses from the kids !


  • Burger buns
  • Four Boiled potatoes        
  • Chopped Coriander leaves       
  • Half a tsp Chilli powder
  • One tsp of Garam masala powder
  • Few Cucumber slices
  • Few Tomato slices
  • Few Cheese slices
  • Lettuce Leaves
  • Salt to taste
  • Mayyonese or some other dressing such as mustard (optional)
  • Tomato Ketchup
How to
Boil the vegetables in the pressure cooker add salt,chilli,masala powder,coriander leaves and mash up well.

Take a small portion of the vegetable make it into a round and flatten it in your palm,place it on a hot pan and shallow fry with some oil.

Cut the bun in to half place the lettuce leaves cheese slice,onion and tomato slices.

Spread the dressing of your choice on top of the pattis.
Place the other half of the bun on top. Poke it with a toothpick so that it stays intact and serve with tomato ketchup.
