Masala Pori is a simple snack made out of Puffed rice and boiled peanuts.It is made so tasty that if you go to the beach in chennai especially marina and beasant nagar you cannot miss it.Some times i make it at home because it is summer and these simple snacks are easily digestible and easy to make.

Vendhaya Dosai
Vendhaya dosai is another variety of dosai which is very soft and aromatic.The dominant taste and aroma of vendhayam makes it tasty and soft.It is a very traditional recipe.My grandmom used to call it 'mendhaya arisi dosai'(don't know why though).It tastes good with any kara chutney and tastes best when eaten hot.

Paneer Tikki/Panner ki Tikki
This is yet another Panner recipe.I had a lot of milk left over so i made some paneer and was wanting to make some paneer dish.I saw this recipe in a magazine and tried it immediately.It came out very well and tasty too.It is a perfect starter.You can even make the pattis and store it in the refrigerator and then fry them when required especially when you are having a party.

Cucumber Salad/Pinchu Vellarikkai salad
Summer has started and you can see a lot of recipes for summers like juices,Neer more and salads to keep your body cool!I see a lot of these pinchu velllarikkai(pinchu means tender) sold everywhere.My mother used to make a simple salad out of this cucumber with salt and pepper.It is so tasty that it can be substituted for any south indian curries to go with sambar.
