Coriander and Coconut chutney for idlis

This chutney is also very simple and easy to make.There is no cooking involved.The blend of coriander(kothamalli)and coconut with some roasted gram makes a great combination for idlis and dosas.It comes in handy when you are in a hurry and want to save some time.
Here goes the recipe.



Ingredients

  • 4Tbs Scraped Coconut 
  • 2tbs Roasted Channa dhal(pottu kadalai)
  • Small piece of Tamrind           
  • Half bunch of Coriander leaves
  • Salt to taste
  • A pinch of Asafoetida
  • Two green chillies






Method


Grind all the ingredients in the mixer in to a smooth paste.
It can be served along with idli,dosa,arisi upma,pongal etc.
