Raitas are the easiest accompaniments that can be made in a jiffy.It is appropriate for the summer where you don't have to waste too much time in the kitchen plus the dish is also very cooling!!!!One such recipe is "Boondi Raita" which is very popular in north India served with all kinds of Rotis and Pulaos.
I made this raita while I was making palak poori.
How to
1.Whisk the curd until smooth.
2.Add salt,chilli powder,sugar,chopped coriander leaves and roasted cumin powder.
3.Mix well and refrigerate until use.

You will Need
- One cup Curd
- Half cup Salted Boondi
- 1/2 tsp Roasted Cumin powder
- 1/2 tsp Red Chilli powder
- 1 tbs Chopped Coriander Leaves
- 1/2 tsp Sugar
- Salt to taste
How to

4.Just before serving add the boondis and mix and serve immediately.
Enjoy the raita with some spicy poori or pulao!!!!!!!
Notes :
- The boondi will become soggy fast, so add it into the curd just before serving.
- It is a good accompaniment for spicy dishes as the curd will be soothing.
- You can also sprinkle Chaat Masala on top, for an added taste.
