I just finished packing my dolls and putting them in their respective places and of course the godrej(steel) steps that had to dismantled. I am here with some diwali recipes. Kara Boondhi is a simple savoury (tea time snack) and easy to make.It is really
thrilling to see the perfect little rounds coming out fried. Little care here and there, and I think you will get decent boondhis. I always refer to Meenkashi ammals cook book for traditional recipes and of course did the same for this recipe too.

This is a very easy diwali snack you can try making with small quantities if you are making for the first time. This boondhi is a main ingredient in making Mixture so worth a try !!!!!
Notes
- Let the ladle with the holes be wide and big so that you can make more boondhis at one time. There are special ladles to make boondhi itself if you get that that would be great.
- Some people add pepper powder instead of red chilli powder. You can fry the pepper powder in ghee and add it to the boondhis along with cashew nuts and peanuts.
- If the batter is thick then you will get tear drop boondhis so add some water.
- If the batter is watery then the boondhis would become flat so add some more flour.
