Almond Basundhi is a new sweet i discovered from Tarla Dala's Website.I wanted to make some Indian sweet with half a can of Condensed milk so i was searching for the recipe and i found this interesting. It is very very simple to make and rich in taste also.HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL OF YOU!!!!!

You will Need
  • 25-30 Almonds or Badam
  • 200gms Condensed Milk
  • One cup Milk
  • A pinch of Cardamom Powder
  • Few Strands of Saffron
How to
1.Soak almonds or badam in hot water for 10-15 minutes peel the skin.
2.Grind the almonds in to a smooth paste by adding some milk.
3.Dilute it with the rest of the milk add some saffron and boil to remove the raw smell of almonds.
4.After heating lower the flame and add the condensed milk.
5.When it thickens a little add cardamom powder and mix well.
6.This step is optional if the milk is watery dissolve one tsp of corn flour in milk and pour in to the boiling milk.It will thicken.Allow it to cool for half an hour.If it becomes too thick do not worry you can add some hot milk and make it basundhi consistency.
Enjoy the sweet!!!!
