Chilly Paneer

                                                      I have been wanting to try this recipe for a long time now.My kids are so fond of paneer and this is a Indo chinese recipe and you don't have to ask they love it.I had some home made paneer and that was the best use of it.



You will Need

  • 200 gms of Paneer
  • One Large Onion
  • One Capsicum
  • Two tbs Corn flour
  • Two tbs Maida(All purpose flour)
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for deep or shallow frying
  • Half tsp Soya Sauce
  • Half tsp  Green Chilli Sauce
  • One tbs Tomato Sauce
  • Half tsp Black Pepper powder
  • One tsp Ginger Garlic paste
  • One tsp Sugar(optional)
  • One tsp Lime Juice
  • One tsp chopped Spring Onions



How to
  • Mix all purpose flour,corn flour,salt with water and make it in to a paste.(chop the onions and capsicum in to blocks)


  •  Cut the paneer into blocks and coat them with the flour paste.


  •  Shallow or deep fry them in a pan.Toss and turn on all sides and fry them.


  •  In the same pan heat oil and fry the onions till light brown and add ginger garlic paste.


  •  Add the chopped capsicum and fry on high flame for a minute(it should be crisp)


  •  Add the sauces,pepper powder and a little salt and toss.


  • Add the paneer pieces and mix well.Garnish with chopped spring onions. Squeeze some lemon juice, if u want to.


Enjoy it as a starter!!!!
