Mixed Vegetable Cutlet

                                                                 Cutlets can be called as a snack,starter or an apetizer.It is a combination of vegetables mixed with spices dipped in flour paste and coated with breadcrumbs and then fried in oil or shallow fried in a non stick pan.It can be used as  patti for your Vegetarian Burger.




You will Need

  • Few Potatoes
  • One Carrot
  • Half a cup Peas
  • One Onion
  • Pinch of Turmeric powder
  • Half a tsp of Chilli powder
  • One tsp of Garam masala powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Two tbs of Coriander leaves
  • Few Bread slices
  • 3tbs of Maida(flour)
  • Oil to fry
  • One tsp Fennel seeds

How to
  • Powder few slices of bread preferably some hard slices



  • Boil the vegetables in the pressure cooker for three whistles.


  • Heat oil in a pan saute fennel seeds and add chopped onions.add all the other powders and saute for a minute.


  • Add the onions,powdered bread and coriander leaves to the boiled vegetables and mash it up well.



Take a small portion of the vegetable make ball and flatten it and make it in to a patti.You can use a cookie cutter for perfect shapes.


  • Dip each one in to a paste made with maida and water and coat it in breadcrumbs.Place it on a non stick tawa and fry it till brown.Enjoy as a starter or a evening snack with Tomato sauce
