Molten Chocolate Lava Cake

                                                                            Chocolate Lava Cake became very popular after domino's pizza  introduced it.Whenever we order pizza from Domino's I could miss the pizza slices or the garlic bread but definitely not the chocolate lava cake.It is so yummy!!!!
There used to be days when i used to be terrified about baking .now a days after seeing all the wonderful recipes in the blog  i have started to bake little things.one such attempt is the lava cake.i got the recipe from

You Will Need

  • 110 gms of Dark chocolate
  • Half a cup of Butter
  • Two Eggs
  • One third cup of Sugar(75gms)
  • All purpose flour(40 gms)
How to
1.Melt the chocolate in a double boiler that is keep a tall vessel with water and allow it to boil and place a bowl which fits in to it and place the chocolate pieces in that and melt (without melting it directly).

2.Slide in the butter and allow it to melt.take out the bowl from the boiler and let the melted chocolate and butter  come to room temperature.

3.whisk the egg and sugar till fluffy 3 minutes in a electric beater or 5 minutes with a hand beater.


4.Add the chocolate and butter mixture to the egg and Sprinkle the flour slowly and add it to the rest of the ingredients.fold in gently.

5.Grease the ramekins with butter and dust them with flour.Fill up the ramekins half with the mixture.

6.Bake in a preheated oven at 180 C for 10 - 12 minutes.(shorter for gooey inside).Longer for stiff inside.

Slide a knife through the sides and invert into serving plates.
Sprinkle powdered sugar on top and serve warm with fruits or ice cream!!!

I really can't help but see that this blog seems very similar to Rak's Kitchen....! Well maybe something original will be much better!
