Milk peda or dhoodh peda is a very famous milk sweet in Northern India.
Traditionally it is made condensing milk and then adding sugar and then softening them in to pedas.But now a days with the availability of milk products it is made easier.There are few methods of making it and i adopted this method..

- One cup of Milk powder
- 200 ml Condensed Milk
- Ghee for greasing
- Sliced pistachios
- Few Strands of Saffron
- A pinch of Cardamom powder
How to
1.Soak few strands of saffron in hot milk and leave it for half an hour.
2.Combine milk powder,condensed milk and saffron dissolved milk in a non stick pan.
3.Add a tsp of ghee and heat it till it comes together as a mass.
4.Apply some ghee on your fingers.Allow it to cool and pull out a small portion and roll it in to a smooth ball and then flatten in to pedas.
Garnish them with pistachios or badam pieces.

Notes
- You can add a pinch of Cardamom powder if you want to.
- You can add some chocolate pwder to make chocolate pedas.
- Do not make the dough too thick it will get thicker as time goes by.
