Mango Sago/Mango Sago Pudding

Mango Sago Pudding is a simple Mango Dessert which originated in Hong Kong, popular in the far eastern countries. It is actually made with Mango puree, evaporated milk or coconut milk.I have of course changed it according to my taste and made it.It tastes best when chilled.
I thougt this mango season i would try something new with ripe mangoes and here it is...

You will Need

  • One big Ripe Mango
  • 1/4 cup Sago or javarisi
  • 1/4 cup Condensed Milk

How to

  • Soak the Sago or javarisi for One hour.

  •  Wash it in running water to remove the starch and put it in boiling water and boil.when it becomes translucent drain and keep aside.

  •  Peel the skin of the mango and cut it in to big pieces and puree it.

  •  Put the boiled sago in a big bowl and add the condensed milk.

  •  Add the mango puree and mix well.

  • Pour it in to serving bowls and refrigerate for two hours.Decorate with some chopped mango pieces on top.
Suggestions
  •  Use fully ripe mangoes for best colour and taste.
  • You can add half a cup of milk if the consistency is too thick.
  • You can add few tsp of sugar for extra sweetness or if the mango is not very sweet.
