I have heard so much about this toast and finally I got to try it at home today.It is very popular in Karnataka, in the Banglore Iyengar Bakery.I looked for the recipe and it was really my kind of food - simple and yet tasty.It would be a perfect evening snack for the kids.Try it,I am sure you will also love it for its simplicity and taste.
You will Need
How to
1.Chop all the vegetables and shred the carrot as shown in the picture.
2.Heat oil in a pan and crackle mustard seeds and cumin seeds.
3.Add the chopped onions and green chilli and fry till onions are translucent.
4.Add chopped tomatoes and shredded carrot fry for a minute and then add chilli powder and salt.
5.Mix well and add chopped capsicum and fry for one minute.
6.Add chopped coriander leaves and switch off the stove.
7.Add one tbs Tomato ketch up and mix well.
You will Need
- 6-8 slices of Bread
- One Onion
- One Tomato
- One Carrot
- One Green chilli
- Half a Capsicum
- One tbs Oil
- Half tsp Mustard seeds
- Half tsp Cumin seeds
- A pinch of Turmeric Powder
- Half tsp Red Chilli Powder
- Few Chopped Coriander Leaves
- Butter to Toast
- One tbs Tomato Ketchup
How to

Notes- In case you want to send it to school you can put another slice on top and toast it in the sandwich toaster.
