Banana Walnut Muffins

I am a little comfortable with Baking now.Especially when I saw the outcome of the muffins, I was really thrilled.I love bananas in muffins or cakes and of course the crunchy walnuts, which is a really good combo.
Have a look at my muffins!!!!!!!!

You will Need

  • One and half cups of Flour
  • Two medium sized Bananas
  • Two Eggs
  • One third of a cup Butter
  • Half a cup Sugar
  • One thrid of a cup Chopped Walnuts
  • One tsp Baking powder
  • One tsp Vanilla Essence

1.Seive the flour and baking powder and keep it aside.Mash the bananas well.
2.Beat the eggs for five minutes in hand beater or three minutes in electric beater.
3. Add the eggs and butter and sugar, mashed bananas and mix.
4.Slowly add the flour to the beaten egg mixture.do not beat vigorously now just mix gently.
5.Fold in gently so that there is even mixing and add the chopped walnuts.Preheat the oven to 180 degrees celcius.
6. Pour in the muffin cups in the muffin tray
7.Bake for 15-18 minutes or till it browns and if you insert a knife it should come out clean without sticking.

Enjoy!!!

I made this for my housemates last week, and they absolutely loved them! I put strawberries and blueberries in with the bananas, very delicious.
