Masala Sprite/Masala Soda/Shikanji Recipe

                                                                               Shikanji is a popular  Indian Lemonade sold in the streets of  North India and Pakistan..It is so popular in the streets of Delhi that you get Shikanji masala in packets.During summer, you can see a lot of Shikanji stalls in the streets.Sometimes crushed ginger is added to the drink.It is usually made with water.I have tried it with soda or sprite which tastes even more better.It is a perfect party drink in the summer!!!!!

You will Need (serves 2)

• 250 Ml Sprite or Soda
• Lemon Juice from Two small Lemons
• 1 tsp Chaat Masala
• 1/2 tsp Black Salt
• 1/4 tsp Roasted cumin Powder
• A pinch of Black Pepper Powder
• 1 tbs Chopped Mint Leaves
• Lemon Wedges to Garnish
• 12-14 Ice cubes

How to
1.In tall glasses add black salt,chaat masala,pepper powder,cumin powder, lemon juice,chopped mint leaves first and then add ice cubes.

2.Close the glass with a small plate and give it a nice shake.

3.Pour soda add lemon slices and serve.

Enjoy it as a refreshing summer drink or as a party drink!!!!!

Notes

• If you prefer you can add a little crushed ginger.
• Add a little honey for sweetness or while you are using only soda.
