Paneer Tikka Masala

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                Paneer Tikka Masala is the yummy sidedish anyone would love with rotis,nans and kulchas.I made kulchas and Paneer tikka masala to go with it.It was like restaurant food at home for us because we usually make phulkas and light dals and subzis to go with it.I am sure all of you would love this yummy paneer subzi  do give it a try!!!!!!!!


You will Need(for the Paneer Tikka)
  • 200 gms of Paneer
  • 1/2 cup Hung curd
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tbs Lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp Chilli powder
  • 1/4 tsp Chaat Masala powder
  • A pinch of Turmeric powder
  • 1/2tsp Garam masala powder
  • Oil to saute

For the Gravy
  • 2 tbs Butter
  • 2 Onions Chopped
  • 2 to 3 Tomatoes Pureed
  • 1 tsp Ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tsp Kasuri Methi
  • Salt to taste
  • A pinch of Tumeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp Chilli powder
  • 1 tsp Garam Masala powder
  • 1/2 cup Cream
  • 1 tsp Chopped Coriander Leaves
How to
1.Put the curd in the strainer and allow the water to drain for an hour.
2.In the thick curd mix salt,turmeric powder,chilli powder,chaat masala powder and some lemon juice
3.Marinate the paneer pieces in that and refrigerate for 2 hours.
4.After two hours saute the paneer in a tawa (sorry i missed the picture)Heat oil in a pan crackle cumin seeds add chopped onions and saute for few minutes add turmeric powder and salt and fry.
Add some ginger garlic paste and fry till raw smell goes.
5.Add tomato puree and fry further.
6.Add garam masala powder,chilli powder and kasuri methi and mix well.

7.Add creme and switch off the stove.
8.Add the sauteed Paneer pieces.
9.Add chopped coriander leaves and transfer to a serving bowl.
Enjoy with some hot kulchas,nans or phulkas or pulao.
Notes

  • You can use Tandoori masala powder instead of garam masala powder to marinate the paneer pieces.
  • You can add one tsp of Sugar in the gravy.
  • When you sauting the paneer pieces turn around all sides for even roasting.
