Gobi Manchurian

                                                                 Gobi Manchurian an Indo chinese starter and it is most people's favourite!!!!.After all the festival snacks and sweets i wanted to make something different and of course the kids favorite.Long time since i made any starter so decided to make this Gobi Manchurian today.When i bought spring onions kids were curious to know what i was making with it!!



You will Need
  • One Cauliflower
  • 4tbs of Corn flour
  • 1 tbs of Rice Flour
  • 2tbs of Maida
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil to Deep fry
  • One tsp Ginger garlic paste
  • One small bunch of Spring onions
  • One Big Onion (chopped)
  • One tsp Pepper powder
  • One tbs Tomato Ketchup
  • One tsp Sugar(optional)
  • One tsp Soya Sauce

How to
  • Cut the cauliflower into medium sized florets dip them in hot water for ten minutes.Make a smooth paste with the three flour and salt like dosa batter(consistency).Dip the cauliflower in to the batter and deep fry them.Let the cauliflower get a thick coat of the flour.




  • Drain them on a paper towel and keep it aside.


  • Heat oil in a pan saute ginger garlic paste and white portion of the spring onions for few minutes then add the chopped regular onions and fry till transculent.


  • Add salt,tomato ketchup,pepper powder and soya sauce and give it  a thorough mix.


  • Add the fried cauliflower pieces and mix well.


  • Add chopped green portion of the spring onions and toss well.



Enjoy the starter with your favourite sauce!!!!
