Manglore Bonda is a karnataka style tea time Fried Snack.It is quiet simple and easy to make with simple ingredients available at home.It is a special one in Woodlands restaurant in Chennai.My father used to buy it whenever he drops in and it is one of his favourite too!!!

- One cup Maida flour
- Half a cup sour curd
- One tbs of Rice flour
- One chopped green chilli
- One piece of ginger chopped
- Ont tsp of chopped Coriander leaves
- Few chopped Cashew nuts
- A pinch of Soda
- Salt to taste
- Oil to Deep fry
How to
1.Mix all the ingredients except oil into a smooth dough.
2.Close and allow it to soak for an hour.
3.Take small portions of it like a small ball and deep fry.
4.Serve hot with coconut chutney.
Tips
- It taste best when served hot.
- I have not added the chilli,coriander and the nuts.(my kids are picky)
- You can add asafoetida,cumin seeds according to your taste.
