Methi Pulao/Methi Leaves Pulao

                                         I am writing this post after a very long time.I had this pulao in my friends house and i reallly liked it.I always wanted to include greens in the pualo and this one is a perfect one.It is very aromatic and healthy pulao.You can add some boiled channa or some peas to the pulao to make it even more protein rich and healthy.




You will Need
  • One cup Rice Basmati or Long grain
  • One Large bunch of Methi Leaves
  • Two tbs Oil
  • Two cloves
  • Two cardamom
  • Small cinnamon stick
  • One large Onion
  • One large Tomato
  • Two Green Chillies
  • One piece Ginger
  • Two to three Garic pods
  • Salt to Taste
  • One tsp Coriander Powder
  • One tsp Cumin Powder
  • One tsp Garam masala powder
1.Grind the green chillies,garlic and ginger to a paste.

2.Heat oil in a pan crackle cloves,cardamom and cinnamon.Add chopped onions and saute till brown.
3.Add the ground paste and saute further.
4.Add the chopped tomatoes and saute till mushy.Add salt,coriander,cumin and garam masala powder and mix well and bring it together.
5.Add cleaned methi leaves and saute for few minutes.
6.Cool the mixture,add cooked rice and mix well.If required add some salt.
7Enjoy the aromatic pulao with some raita or dal!!!!😄
