Sprouts Fried Rice

                                                                     Sprouts fried rice is something new to me.While i was looking for some new recipes i came across this recipe.It seemed simple and healthy.My daughter is very fornd of Fried rice so i thought it let me give a try to this one which has proteins also and which will make her eat the sprouts.
To make the sprouts softer i boiled it for few minutes.You can either boil or steam it for few minutes so that is soft at the same time crisp.

You will Need
  • One cup  Long grain Rice
  • 1/2 cup Bean sprouts
  • Half Green capscicum
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Soya sauce
  • One tsp chopped Ginger
  • One tsp chopped Garlic
  • 1/2 tsp Vinegar
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp Sugar





How to
1.Soak the rice for 15-20 minutes.
 2.Cook it in the rice cooker with 1:1 3/4 cup water sprinkle some oil.
 3.Fluff it with a fork so that it does not stick to each other.
 4.Heat oil in a pan or wok add finely chopped ginger and garlic and fry for few seconds.
 5.Add the chopped capsicum and fry for a minute.
 6.Add the bean sprouts and fry for few minutes or you can steam or boil the sprouts for few minutes earlier and reduce the frying time.
 7.Add salt,soy sauce,vinegar,chilli sauce,sugar and mix well.

8.Add the cooked rice and give it a nice mix in high flame and switch off the stove.You may garnish with some spring onions.!!!!!!


Notes
  • You can add some more vegetables like spring onions cabbage etc.
  • You can add half tsp sugar to balance the sauces and taste.
  • Adjust the spice level according to your taste.
