Cocktail idlis Independence day special

I just tried these flavoured idlis for fun it looked very cute and i thought let me post it for Independence day!I have already posted Podi idli or Chilly idli which you make with Dosai milagai podi.You can make the green colour flavour by either using Karuvepillai podi or Green Chutney.I used Green chutney only.

How to
  • Take a tbs of Idli or dosai milagai podi mix it with gingelly oil to make a paste apply on the idlis so that it is fully covered with chilli powder.
  • Repeat the same thing with few idlis with karuvepillai podi and apply on a few idlis.
  • Leave some idlis plain.
  • Take a tooth pick and insert the green idli first then the palin idli and then the red one.Repeat as may as you want and decorate it on a plate.
Serve as a starter or a appetizer with Coconut chutney!!
